Nadif used to live in a village with his family and friends. There were many animals. He played football with his friends every day., Nadif’s life changed. People were fighting each other with guns, planes and bombs. Many people were killed and their homes were destroyed., Nadif and his friends had to run away, deep into the forest. They were scared. There were lions. They walked and swam across wide rivers. They were scared because there were crocodiles and snakes., Nadif and his friends took eight weeks to get to Kenya. Then they went on a bus to a refugee camp. Nadif slept under a plastic shelter. Nadif worked and got money to buy food., One day Nadif was chosen to go and live in Australia. When he arrived, he lived with a family in a big city., Nadif had to find out about a lot of new things. He had to study English and find out what people do in Australia. He went to the library and borrowed books. He also found out how to use a computer.,
