1) The Anishinabe People have an oral history and have a story about how North America was formed. 2) Anishinabe people stopped being peaceful and started fighting each other. 3) There was a huge flood and most people and animals drowned. 4) Wanaboozhoo was very kind, so he let the other animals take turns resting on the log. 5) Wanaboozhoo tries to dive to the bottom and get dirt but he fails. 6) The Loon tries to dive to the bottom and get dirt but it fails.  7) The Helldiver tries to dive to the bottom and get dirt but it fails.  8) The mink and the turtle failed too.  9) The muskrat dives to the bottom and gets dirt but sacrifices its life. 10) The turtle offers to carry the dirt on its back.  11) The Four Winds blew and the dirt turned into Turtle Island.
