Rest - Rest injured body part and remove player from any movement through affected area., Ice - Ice the affected area to prevent swelling. 20mins every 2 hours for the first 24-48 hours. 20mins on every 4 hours 48-72hours., Compression - Compress the affected area with compression stocking or compression tape to prevent further swelling to the affected area., Elevate - Elevate affect area above the level of the heart to restrict blood flow to the area., Referral/Rehab - Refer player onto physio’s and trained professionals, Talk  - Find out about the pain- sharp dull, aching, throbbing. How the injury occurred- cause and mechanism , Observe - Mental State, pain, their reaction , Touch - Feel the injury for swelling, bruising, heat- observe athlete when you are touching , Active Movement - Athlete moves the injury through range of motion, Passive Movement - Physio or treatment person to move the injruy through range of motion , Skills Test - Test the atheltes wqith common skills from the sporting context. ,
