(Like incorporating Scandinavian style as a new style), Assimilation - the minority culture adopts the practices, beliefs, and values of the dominant culture (First Nations), Accommodation - adaptation to the conditions that surround the person (Me speaking English in public while maintaining my first language at home), Hybridization - the combining of elements two or different things to create something new , Law Context - laws passed by a government to prevent a cultural identity from being overwhelmed by the media of a more dominant culture, Cultural Revitalization - when a culture is trying to hold on to what they have to not lose to universalization. When this happens, Those few companies have a lot of power over what news and information people see, which can limit different viewpoints or ideas., Media Convergence - when different types of media, like TV, radio, and the internet, come together and work on the same devices, like smartphones or computers. This makes it easier to access content in different ways, like watching videos, reading articles, and listening to music all on one platform.,
