This leads to drought making wildfires more common , Higher global temperatures will result in the melting of sea ice (e.g. Greenland) which may cause sea levels to rise, Increased flooding in low lying countries such as Bangladesh, Increased rainfall and more frequent storms in countries like the UK, making extreme flood events more likely, Climate change will have an effect on the habitats of many plant and animal species in places like the Great Barrier Reef (Australia), putting more species at risk of extinction., Climate change affects the kind of crops that can be grown, leading to crops failing and food shortages in countries such as Brazil, Temperature rise may mean malaria could spread to places such as the USA.
