They come in different sizes., Pins - Pins have a sharp point at one end and a flat end or ball at the other end. They are used to attach pieces of material together before sewing or tacking so they do not slip apart., Sewing/Machine Thread - This should match the material you are using. It is strong and is used to hold material together when stitching on the sewing machine., Tacking Thread - This is used for temporary stitching such as tacking. It is not very strong and does not need to match the fabric as it is removed after machining., Iron - These are used to press fabric to remove creases or to flatten seams to give a more professional finish., Iron Board  - a board covered with cloth, usually with folding legs, on which clothes and other items can be made smooth with an iron.,
