Act 1 Scene 5 Macbeth shows love for Lady Macbeth - "My dearest Love!", Macbeth shows no feeling at Lady Macbeths death - "She should have died there after", Shakespeare helps the audience to pity Macbeth even when he kills Duncan - By killing Duncan off stage, Shakespeare uses Hecate to help the audience to pity Macbeth  - When she calls Macbeth a "wayward son" - not a true son of Evil, Shakespeare makes Macbeth out to be a hero at the end - "Before my body I throw a war like shield", Even when Macbeth knows Mcduff can kill him he still fights on - "I will not yield!", To create a Tragic Hero, thew audience must feel two things for Macbeth - Fear and Pity,
