Working Together to Safeguard Children - As and Early Years Practitioner you will be responsible for working with parents to plan effective activities and experiences for their child based on their stage of development and their interests. You will be required to share information with parents on their child’s development, completing regular assessments and discussing any gaps or delays in learning. You will be required to discuss and make any required referrals to external agencies and to ensure parents are involved in this process. , General Data Protection Regulations - As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be expected to carry out regular observations on your key children. These may take the form of a written observation, video, or photograph. These observations must be stored on the child’s file in the nursery app using the nursery tablets. All observations will be reviewed by the Senior Early Years Practitioner and then sent to the parents to view via the messaging system on the nursery app., United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child - As an Early Years Practitioner, you will be responsible for meeting the needs of all children within your care. You will be expected to adapt your practice to meet the individual needs of all children ensuring inclusion in all activities and experiences provided.
