____ the sun sets and the sky darkens, I love to go outside and watch the stars come out one-by-one. ____ the sun sets in the west, the first stars become visible in the eastern sky ____ it is darkest in that direction. ____ time moves slowly for me when I am sitting in the quiet, the beautiful night sky holds my attention. The brightest stars shine are the first to shine ____ slowly, gradually, all the stars begin to twinkle up above. ____ all the stars come out, I look for my favourite constellations, the giants of the sky. ____ I cannot always see him, Orion the Great Hunter is my favourite one. The glory of his sparkly belt and shield remind me of his legendary deeds. ____ I find Orion, I look for Ursus major with his famous Big Dipper. ____ ever I get lost, I can always find the North Star, Polaris, by connecting the two stars on the dipper. It is true that star-gazing is best during fall and winter, ____ I make sure to wear my warmest clothes and bring a cozy blanket. ____ I return to the warmth of my house, I am sure to wave good-bye to my favourite distant stars.
