Mild Anxiety - Sensation that something is different and warrants special attention, Moderate Anxiety - Disturbing feelings that something is definitely wrong, the person is nervous or agitated , Panic Anxiety - Intense anxiety, may be a response to a life-threatening situation, Severe Anxiety - Increased level of anxiety when primitive survival skills take over. , Mild Symptoms - Wide perception, sharpened senses, increased motivation/learning. Restless, GI butterflies, insomnia, hypersensitivity to noise, Moderate Symptoms - Perception narrowed to immediate task, cannot connect thoughts independently, increased use of automatisms. Muscle tension, diaphoresis, pounding pulse, headache, dry mouth, high-pitched voice, fast speech, GI upset, and Frequent Urination, Severe Symptoms - Perception reduced to one/scattered details, cannot complete tasks, does not respond to redirection, feels awe, dread, trembling, pale, nausea, vomiting, tachycardia, ritualistic behaviors, Panic Symptoms - Perception on self, cannot process environmental stimuli, loss of rational thought, possible delusions, hallucinations, suicidal, may bolt or run or be immobile, dilated pupils, increased BP, flight, fight, or freeze. ,
