Basically, what happened was we had a problem with material quality., In a nutshell, the steel plates had microcracks in them., This led to breakages once in operation., Which meant that the pieces had to be removed six months before., The issue came about due to quality assurance errors at the manufacturer., The root cause of the problem stems from manufacturer labor issues., The fact of the matter is, this supplier isn't good enough for us now., There are two options open to us; one we help them improve or two we change suppliers., Our first port of call is the Procurement team. , So, just to recap accountabilities and next steps., So, by the end of the next quarter we will have a different supplier., We're agreed then!,
