SERVICE DELIVERY - 1) Mapping of services, also checking the quality of services, monitoring the 3 4 5 W, develop mechanism to avoid duplication of activities and gaps; 2) develop a humanitarian response planning, activation of national and subnational protection subsectors to follow up protection cases; 3) developing standard operation procedures, INFORM HUMANITARIAN STRATEGIC DECISION-MAKING - 1) conduct a needs assessment locally to identify the main protection concerns and risks and to identify most vulnerable populations and conduct desk review of the information gathered by other actors 2) mapping the actors and activities that are being implemented in the areas of concern 3) conduct capacities assessment to identify the capacity actors working in the response and gaps, PLAN AND IMPLEMENT CLUSTERS STRATEGIES - 1) identification of needs to plan response - the who and what (plan - coordination with stakeholder/developing and input in HNO, agreeing on the number of PiN and severity mapping, multi-cluster needs assessment (MCNA), prioritizing of needs/geographic scope) 2) identify which agencies implement/mapping of actors/projects (operational service mapping tool/online tool eg 5Ws, cross checking necessities mapped across actors to see who implements where, SoPs on interagency referrals) 3) make sure that our strategies reflect in the HRP, respective sectors share strategic objectives in all clusters, MONITOR AND EVALUATE RESPONSE - 1) Collection and analysing data (identify protection needs, risks and challenges; developing a monitoring framework/indicators; referral pathways for protection cases) 2) continuous and regular data collection, analysis of data, assessing the response to ensure that people in need are receiving services, re-prioritization and supporting service delivery (eliminate duplication and gaps) 3) evaluation and analysis of data/situation - are we effective?, informing partners and data sharing, evidence-based advocacy to government and partners on actions/next steps, improving future response, funding for protection activities, BUILD NATIONAL CAPACITIES IN PREPAREDNESS AND CONTINGENCY PLANNING - 1) Assess the needs of the population of concern in order to understand how to support authorities and local organizations to enhance their response. 2) Identify government responses and response capacity to avoid duplication of protection intervention and develop a coordination action. 3) Encourage the active participation of the civilian population so that protection actions develop empowerment and adherence. , UNDERTAKE ROBUST COLLECTIVE ADVOCACY - 1) Understanding the collective advocacy points which should be driven/prioritized via collective advocacy (round of consultations with cluster partners and other cluster leads to identify these); 2) Ensuring all these points are included in the HCT agenda as points to be prioritized/systematically follow-up on (assignment of roles and responsibilities); 3) Attach AP/ actionable plans to each of these priorities and follow-up on their roll-out with the relevant counterparts ,
