Engineers, as practitioners of engineering, are professionals who invent, design, analyze, build and test machines, All the day to day things that are man-made, are certainly created or designed by engineers., Engineers have definitely shaped our world., Civilization would be as advanced as the Stone Age without these people., It is an ever-changing career with new advances in materials and the way products are produced., Engineering careers are very secure with respect to compensation ., One pitfall is that this job is not looked upon as highly as other fields such as doctors and lawyers., In having the basic skills and experiences in math and science, an engineer is basically an inventor., Engineers are the problem solvers of our materialistic society., In the career field of engineering, there is a broad field and offers several alternative career paths., The innovation and the creativity that drives our society forward are inspired by the teachings of engineering, The idea of seeing a project come to life is what provokes my desire to become an engineer, My passion for chemical engineering is seeing how the fundamental theories of Chemistry, Physics and Math can be applied to create an innovative industry., As an engineer, there are times where an individual with leadership and cooperative skills must rise and become the leader in different projects., Interpersonal skills play a significant role in an engineer’s life., Teamwork, leadership, interpersonal and hands-on skills are key abilities engineers must have in order to be successful.,
