Tend to remain in affect until they are canceled, expired, or deemed unlawful. , Emergency Powers - Can be invoked during national emergencies. Ex. Trump invoked these powers to build a border wall. , Sociological Model - Congress mirrors the general societal makeup in terms of race, gender, party ID etc. , Agency Model  - Members of congress represent the individuals who elected them and do what they can to better their district. ,
