Good Argument: As someone who’s led our school’s gaming club for the past year, I’ve seen firsthand how video games can create leadership, teamwork, and even strategic thinking skills in my fellow classmates!, As a student who uses assistive technology every day, I can say having computers/tabs in school has made learning possible for people like me., Imagine a student who can’t do their homework because they don’t have a laptop at home. While others log into digital classrooms, they’re falling further behind. It’s not fair—and it’s not their fault, Online games should be better monitored. No one deserves to log in and be bullied or threatened just for playing. These platforms should feel fun and safe—not hostile., Studies from the American Psychological Association show that playing action-based video games can improve attention control, spatial awareness, and reaction times—skills that are valuable in real-world scenarios too., Using phones in class for academic purposes is practical. Students can look up information instantly, collaborate in real-time, and use apps like dictionaries or calculators to work more efficiently., Bad Argument: Video games are just bad for society because they make people weird and antisocial. Everyone knows that., We should ban phones in school because teachers don’t like them, and honestly, they’re just annoying., Technology is ruining everything these days. Life was better before all these screens took over., Artificial Intelligence is dangerous and it freaks me out, so we should stop using it.,
