1) The River water benefits mainly two states- Chhattisgarh and Odisha. 2) The River water that benefits the states Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. It is very important for irrigation, drinking water and farming. 3) It originates in Amarkantak in Madhya Pradesh. It is longer than Tapi River. States benefitted are Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra. 4) It originates in Tibet near the Himalayas. It is called Tsangpo in tibet. River flows through Arun 5) It originates in Lake Manasarovar in Tibet. It drains into Arabian Sea. Major tributaries are Jhelu 6) It originates from the Gangotri Glacier in Uttarakhand. It drains into Bay to Bengal. It flows through 7) It originates from Trimbakeshwar near Nashik in Maharashtra. It is known as Dakshin Ganga. It flows through Maharashtra, Telangana and Andhara Pradesh. 8) It originates from the Yamunotri Glacier in Uttarakhand. The Taj Mahal is located on the bank of it.  States benefitted Uttarakhand, Delhi, Haryana and Uttar Pradesh.
